Hero Legends Best Powers Tier List

Detailed S鈥揅 rankings for open-world PVP, robberies, and progression value.

Ranking criteria

This list ranks Hero Legends powers for live city play: street PVP, robbery pressure, and cash efficiency. Boss-only value (Thragg DoT) is called out separately. Early-access patches move individuals 鈥?re-check the Updates Hub after nerfs to Clones, Spider, Doom, or economy systems.

S tier

NanoTech 鈥?S

NanoTech is the consensus best all-rounder for many dedicated players. Community showcases describe it as an Iron Man-style kit that:

  • Costs on the order of 2,000,000 cash
  • Occupies all three power slots
  • Grants elevated health (examples cite around 525 HP in showcases)
  • Adds missiles, lasers, rockets, repulsors, and plasma cannons with heavy hold damage
  • Uses M1 pressure that breaks blocks after committed strings (not always as fast as peak Super Strength, but scary)

Buy advice: Unlock a third slot first when possible. Do not impulse-buy NanoTech while broke 鈥?fund it with Military Base / Vault loops.

Weakness: Slot tax. You cannot splash Flight beside it. Positioning and cooldown discipline still matter; the kit does not autopilot.

Gravity 鈥?S

Gravity is elite control: pull, crush, black hole. It wins team fights, yank-courier plays, and corner locks. Less 鈥渄elete HP bar instantly鈥?than NanoTech plasma, more 鈥測ou do not get to play the game for a moment.鈥漒n Buy advice: Pair with a damage partner or follow-up plan. Solo Gravity still works, but duo synergy is disgusting.

Doom 鈥?S / controversial

Doom sits at the top of many lists and in the argument zone of others depending on the patch and whether an event just ended. When healthy, it is a headline combat investment that also shows up in cash-focused 鈥淢illionaire鈥?style conversations.

Buy advice: Test on the current build after reading updates. Do not spend your entire bankroll the day a Doom event banner disappears without a quick duel check.

A tier

Super Strength 鈥?A+

Still a block-breaking menace. Health values have been nerfed relative to older peaks, but the melee identity remains a foundation for Martial Arts hybrids and raw brawl wins.

Super Speed 鈥?A

Map control, robbery exits, and engage timing. Rarely the highest burst, almost always useful. Excellent second purchase for couriers who already own Invisibility.

Pyrokinesis 鈥?A-

Strong mid-game damage with excellent Thragg / sponge-target value because of ticks. In pure burst PVP it can trail NanoTech, but it is a fantastic cash-efficient fighter while you save.

Martial Arts 鈥?A-

Skill-expression melee that pairs beautifully with Super Strength. Also appears on Thragg reward tables, so you may unlock it via boss RNG 鈥?see How to Beat Thragg.

B tier

Flight 鈥?B+

Traversal king for vertical maps and ship camps. Lower floor in raw grounded duels if that is all you bring.

Electrokinesis / Cryokinesis / Aerokinesis / Nova / Light / Conjure 鈥?B to B+

Solid specialty kits. Conjure shows up in robbery door-break conversations. Elemental kits reward players who learn confirms instead of random projectile spam.

Spider (post-rework) 鈥?B

Reworked relative to older identities. Situational mobility / kit value; do not copy pre-rework rankings blindly.

Acid / Poison Gas 鈥?B

Shine on long fights and boss DPS stacks. Shorter street duels want a plan beyond pure ticks.

Playable, often outclassed by S-tier cash sinks when the account matures.

C tier and skips

Duplicate / Clones 鈥?volatile

Historically abusable, repeatedly nerfed. Treat as patch-dependent, not a permanent identity.

Energy Blast 鈥?C

Overlaps fantasy with better ladder options. Rarely the progressive choice.

Regeneration 鈥?C

Passive healing without pressure loses races and robberies. Pairing regen as a secondary idea can be fine; mainlining it early is slow.

Magic Blast 鈥?Skip

The classic beginner trap. Does not solve stealth, does not solve block breaks, does not solve NanoTech savings. Put the cash into Invisibility or a real A-tier fighter instead.

Robbery-specific valuation

Powers that climb when you care about cash routes:

  1. Invisibility (early)
  2. Super Speed / Flight (exits)
  3. Door-break helpers (Pyro, Conjure, raw Strength punches)
  4. Late NanoTech if you prefer fighting the response team

Details: How to Rob.

Boss-specific valuation

Raise Pyrokinesis, Acid, Poison, and other DoTs for Thragg. Pure stealth drops.

How to use this list without coping

  • Affordability is part of tier. An A-tier you own today beats an S-tier you will buy 鈥渟omeday.鈥漒n- Slot tax is part of tier. NanoTech鈥檚 three-slot lock is the cost of admission.
  • Patch notes beat vibes. Clones, Spider, Doom, and gambling systems move value.
  • Scripts that 鈥渦nlock all powers鈥?are ban bait 鈥?Scripts Hub.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is NanoTech worth 2 million?

For players who finished slot unlocks and want the best all-round kit, yes. Fund it with consistent robberies first.

What should I buy before NanoTech?

Invisibility for robbery income, then a mid combat or mobility power, plus a third slot when required.

Is Doom still S tier?

Often yes, but it is controversial and patch-sensitive. Recheck after events and balance notes.

Why is Magic Blast a skip?

It underperforms for progression compared with stealth or real combat powers and is a common new-player trap.

Are Clones still good?

They have been nerfed across updates. Assume older infinite-clone strategies are weakened or gone.
